At Brown Gouge we are proud to have over 84 years experience in Dry-Cleaning since being established in 1915. By 1929 the company had six shops along with pick up and delivery services. Since our humble beginning we have developed a company profile second to none in the drycleaning and laundry industry, in Australia.

| During the late 1930's the company had several factories. A laundry service was added in 1938 and served five city shops, twenty four suburban outlets, fifty five agencies and an extensive delivery service.
In 1942 the first four hour plant was established in a warehouse operated by Myers, Australia's largest department stores.
